Handmade Prayer Hearts

     Our God has gifted each of us with creativity.  As an expression of His creativity I truly enjoy making lampwork beads.  It is a time of rest and recreation for me.  It is a time to step outside and enjoy His creation as I work and commune with Him.

     Each bead is handmade by me using Moretti or Vetrofond glass.  Each is formed by hand on a mandrel by shaping molten glass. Sterling silver, gold, special reactive glass, and frit are used to give special effects and organic qualities to some beads.

     Beads are annealed for durability in a digitally controlled kiln.

     As I make each bead, I pray for the person who will wear it.
